Affordable Rental Housing Programs
Galilee CDC is committed to expanding access to safe, stable, and affordable rental housing opportunities across the Concho Valley. Through three unique programs, we serve families, rural communities, and young adults working toward independence.
Jeremiah Plan
Designed for families with at least two children, this program provides affordable housing paired with financial education and support services. Residents gain the tools and confidence needed to transition into long-term, sustainable housing.
Our newest development serves young adults ages 18–30 who are building their futures. This includes those aging out of foster care, highschool graduates experiencing housing insequirity, attending college, or qualifying under HUD's 60% of the Area Median Income (AMI) guidelines for the City of San Angelo. The program provides a supportive and affordable place to live while residents pursue education, employment, and independence.
Located in a rural community, Bronte Townhomes address the growing need for affordable housing outside urban areas. This program offers quality, affordable living options for individuals and families seeking stability in a small-town environment.
Noah Estates
In 2013, we completed construction of a Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) development called the North Angelo Housing (NoAH) Estates. This is thirty-six single family homes, built on infill lots in the Blackshear target neighborhood. These homes are rented to qualified low-income families. The rents are kept affordable to families earning between 30% to 60% of HUD median income in San Angelo. In 2013, Galilee CDC won the San Angelo Chamber of Commerce Innovation award for the NoAH Estates development.
